Agents with their own books
Give each agent the properties they work on and that is what they see — tenants, payments, maintenance, documents and reports included. Staff who work across the whole portfolio stay portfolio-wide. Permissions are set per person.
One tenancy, start to finish
Applications come in online, applicants are screened against TPN, leases are signed on a phone and counter-signed in the app, renewals go out as signed addenda. Rent, deposits, maintenance and the bank statement all run in the same place.
Built for South African agencies
TPN screening, SARS-ready reporting for each landlord, POPIA tooling, VAT on tenant invoices for registered vendors, and pricing in rand — billed per active lease, so a vacant unit costs you nothing while you re-let it.
Questions
Can each landlord log in and see only their properties?
Yes. Every landlord gets an owner portal showing their own properties — statements, financials, maintenance and documents — and nothing else.
Can I stop agents from seeing each other's properties?
Yes. Each agent can be given their own book of properties; the rest of the portfolio is out of sight for that login. It is optional and set per person.
Does Mastendi handle client money?
No. Mastendi records and reconciles; it never holds, moves or pays out rent or deposits.
Can we screen tenants under our own TPN membership?
Yes. An agency with its own TPN membership can connect it; otherwise screening runs through Mastendi.
